Track L project
The Node Ferroviaire Lyonnais (NFL) is one of the densest in Europe, located at the intersection of several national and regional European axes (three axes for the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T) and two freight corridors C/2 and D/6).
The NFL has reached its operating and capacity limits, so essential investments are needed to cope with the next ten years. Among these investments, the installation of a new "L" track on the platform at Part Dieu station.
Pompidou access project
Lyon Part Dieu station currently handles 80,000 passengers per day, whereas it is designed to handle 35,000. The increase in rail demand by 2020 has led SNCF Réseau to study the creation of six new platform accesses from Avenue Georges Pompidou, with the implementation of numerous facilities.
The site will remain in operation, and the operations will cover the development of the roadway and public spaces on the Béraudier side, an underground parking lot, the Two Lyon tower, the redevelopment of the station in two phases, the Pompidou accesses, the demolition of the Aquilon and the widening of the platforms.
As part of its mission as Notified Body, CERTIFER's assessment will cover compliance with the TSIs of the Infrastructure, Energy and PRM subsystems for the Track L project.
For the Accès Pompidou project, the assessment will focus on compliance with the TSIs for the PMR subsystem.
In addition to the NoBo mission, CERTIFER is carrying out a technical assistance mission including assistance with requests for derogation and training for the presentation of the TSI Infrastructure, PMR, Energy, Control Command Signalling and the 2008/57/EC Interoperability Directive.
