CERTIFER successfully completed the Nîmes-Montpellier by-pass High-Speed Line assessment and certification
5 years after starting its mission on the high-speed Line planned to a mixed-use both for passenger and freight transportation, CERTIFER completed NoBo, DeBo and CSM missions for OC’VIA. This consortium, in charge of a 25-years PPP with SNCF Réseau, involves financial-industrial partners (Meridiam, Fideppp, Bouygues Construction, Colas rail, Spie batignolles and Alstom). A key milestone was achieved with the Authorisation for Placing in Service (APIS) delivered by the French National Safety Authority, before the inauguration of the freight traffic scheduled on December 10.
As a part of this important French Project, CERTIFER was the Notified Body for Infrastructure and Energy, the Designated Body (OQA) for the assessment of Infrastructure, Energy, Control, Command and Signalling subsystems according to French Standards and was also mandated for the assessment of the integration of the line in the French rail network according to Common Safety Methods.
