After completion of the first stage in January 2020, CERTIFER has successfully completed the second stage of the Signalling System and Platform Screen Doors’ (T252) Independent Safety Assessment (ISA) for Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL) of Singapore’s metro network

On August 28, Land Transport Authority (LTA) Singapore has inaugurated the second stage. The 13 km section features 6 stations: Springlead, Lentor, Mayflower, Bright Hill, Upper Thomson and Caldecott Station, an interchange with the Circle Line.

The TEL project is divided into 5 stages corresponding to 5 geographical sections, which will follow a parabolic route from the north to the southeast of the island with 32 stations and a length of 43 km, between Woodlands North and Sungei Bedok stations.

CERTIFER will continue to accompany its customer ALSTOM during the entire project, expected to be fully operational around 2025.
