Key milestone in Austria: AEbt CERTIFER completed several Rolling Stocks homologation processes in Austria.

As part of the transition to the 4th Railway Package, Austria was given a postponement until 31 October 2020. For many industrialists and operators, this date was hence the key milestone for obtaining approval under the 3rd railway package by the Austrian National Safety Authority, BMK.

In this context AEbt Certifer, a long-standing partner in many large-scale projects in Austria for SBB CFF FFS and Stadler, has successfully completed its independent expert opinions.
Thus, the ETR610 project of Swiss Railways (SBB), Westbahn 1 and 2 Rolling Stocks of Stadler have obtained the necessary authorisation for commissioning in Austria.
