CERTIFER awarded a new contract from the European Union Agency for Railways (ERA) to support them on Vehicle Authorisations applications

Before a new or modified railway vehicle is permitted to operate on the EU railway network the applicant is requested to apply for authorization through the ERA one-stop shop (OSS) in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2018/545.

CERTIFER will bring its large experience as Conformity Assessment Body to deliver complete or partial assessment services on behalf of ERA for pre-engagement or vehicle authorisation phases (first/extended/new/renewed).
