CERTIFER with GESTE Engineering SA have been selected by COLLECTIVITE DE CORSE as the Designated Body of project to extend the centralized control of the Corsican Railways' single track from Bastia to Ajaccio.

The Corsican Authority - CULLETTIVITA TERRITURIALE DI CORSICA - have committed themselves on a constant process of modernization and development of its railways by implementing the extension of the centralized control of the single track and the creation or modification of cross stations to increase of traffic.

In the framework of this mission, we will focus on the following aspects: 
- Infrastructure created or modified 
- Railway signalling/centralised control but also any modifications to the French signaling system DAAT (Automatic Train Stop Equipment).

Two sections are considered for the CFC rail network:
- Central line (Bastia-Ajaccio) including 14 stations to be equipped in one new station and five existing stations 
- Balagne line (Bastia-Calvi-Ile Rousse) including four stations to be equipped in two new stations and two existing ones.
