After the commissioning of the first line in 2011, line B of the Angers tramway is currently being constructed. With a length of approximately 10 km, and two existing stations on line A, this new line will link the Belle-Beille Campus to the Monplaisir district. The aim is to set up three commercial tramway lines: the rearrangement of the current Line A and the creation of a second line allowing two additional commercial lines (Lines B and C) to be put into service. Their characteristics allow for an overall service optimisation.

In June, CERTIFER visited the site to assess the level of finish of the urban facilities, as part of a pre-visit before the dynamic tests that will take place in 2023.
