CERTIFER and CERTIFER TRAMES URBAINES have been awarded an Independent Safety Assessment of the public transportation system in the framework of the requalification study of an avenue in Rouen (France).

Metropole Rouen Normandie designated CERTIFER and CERTIFER Trames Urbaines as Organisme Qualifié Agrée (OQA) for the safety assessment of the light rail transportation (LRT) system crossing the Jean-Jaurès Avenue in Rouen.

As the redevelopment of this avenue can impact the safe insertion of the LRT in this rearranged public space, an independent safety assessment is required in order to validate the project at its preliminary phase. For this, the CERTIFER Group as OQA will give its opinion on:
- the redevelopment of this avenue, at the project stage
- the Preliminary Safety Case
- the Safety Case
- the Test Authorisation Case
