Belgorail Spain continues the EC verification of the section Pedralba-Taboadela of the new High Speed connection between Madrid and Galicia for which solutions never used before in Spain have been developed

The 126 kilometers of tunnels and 10 kilometers of viaducts of the section Pedralba-Taboadela of the new high speed connection between Madrid and Galicia, give the work dimensions of world relevance, with an enormous difficulty that has made it necessary to enable solutions such as the installation of slab track in the successions of these tunnels and viaducts. In some cases, a fixed plate and in others flexible, for deformable structures, thereby accommodating the movements of the track to the movements of the structure.

The experts’ team of Belgorail are doing the EC verification of the infrastructure, energy and safety in tunnels technical requirements.
