The management system audit is a turnkey solution for continuous improvement as it sits under performance evaluation. It allows to ensure that planned objectives are being met.
A management system audit evaluates an existing quality management program to determine its conformance to company policies, contract commitments, and regulatory requirements.
The management system audit provides assurance that the processes and procedures implemented allow the achievement of the quality objectives set by a company.
Belgorail is able to perform management system audits on railway activities according to ISO 9001 and to offer ISO 9001 certifications. HHC / DRS also performs management system audits according to SCC and VA-keur requirements.
What is the role of the management system auditor ?
We perform management system audits on railway related activities covering the maintenance of rolling stock (EA29), the leasing and renting of rolling stock (EA32), the engineering, manufacturing and testing of hard and software (EA33).

The management system audit process is carried out according to the ISO 19011 standard and takes place in 2 stages:
- Assessment of certification readiness in a certification audit and documentary audit
- Concrete assessment of compliance with the requirements of the standard or directive.
At the end of this audit, a report will be drawn up for each part of the audit. The certification decision will then be issued and one or more surveillance audits can be scheduled depending on the certification cycle and the requirements of the certification scheme.
