It is an immense pleasure for us and our assessment team to see the realisation of iconic tramway projects in France and Australia and the France/Switzerland cross-border Leman Express.

This weekend, Transport for NSW inaugurated the new tram line from Circular Quay to Randwick that marks the return of tramway in the city of Sydney. In France, Bordeaux Métropole commissioned the first stage of its Line D on Saturday while Metropole Nice Côte d'Azur inaugurated Tramway Line 2, the extension from the airport towards Port of Nice and Ile-de-France Region put into service the extension of Tramway line 4 between Clichy and Montfermeil. For these tramway projects - all equipped with ALSTOM'S Citadis LRT - CERTIFER acted as IC and OQA (French DeBo).

Europe’s largest cross-border rail network, Léman Express was commissioned on Friday.  With 230 km of track linking France and Switzerland, Léman Express linked Geneva with surrounding towns and villages through 45 train stations across the Greater Geneva region. SNCF and CFF choose Alstom CEVA Regiolis and STADLER Flirt rolling stocks for the fleet of Léman Express.
