Certifer is partner of the High Speed Train “Maintenance Profession Defined and Recognized” (MAPDaR) project in Turkey
The MAPDaR project has been launched on 22 january 2021 and is part of the strategic plan of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Turkey. Its main objective is to recognize the profession of HST set maintener, an important profession in the railway sector which doesn’t have any national standards or qualifications. The final aim is to define a common approach for this profession within the EU in terms of education and certification.
This project covers the subjects of investing in education, training and vocational training for skills, lifelong learning, innovation, social inclusion and employability, among the European Union 2020 targets.
As a DeBo and NoBo organization, CERTIFER is one of the 6 partners of this project coming from Turkey, Germany and France. The other partners are UK Certified Knowledge Association (UKCKA), Turkish TCDD Tasimacilik A.Ş, Çınarlı Mesleki ve Teknik Anadolu Lises, DEMÜHDER and Trex GbR.
